About the role
The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
- Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift.
- Monitor performance and take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
- Maintain safety, security, and profitability during the shift.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Meet targets during their shift and assist in meeting department goals.
Requirements
- Must maintain reliable, dependable, and predictable attendance.
- Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous management experience is preferred but not required.
