About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift.
• Maintain reliability, dependability, and predictability in attendance.
• Perform tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
• May be responsible for meeting targets and helping departments meet their goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage crew and handle food safety.
• Train new employees.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive attitude and a flexible schedule.
• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
