About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high levels of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure adherence to McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• Monitor safety and security protocols
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meet and exceed targets set during their shifts
• Support assigned departments in achieving their goals
• Manage inventory, food safety, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Train and develop crew members
• Handle exceptional customer service situations
• Manage staff schedules

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team
• At least 18 years old

Qualifications

Applicants should have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
