Shift Leader - Part Time

About the role

This position involves supporting the daily operations of a tropical-themed café by leading staff training, ensuring brand standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory management and staff training programs.
• Support hiring, staffing, and onboarding efforts, especially for understaffed locations.
• Facilitate training on new software and ensure team members are proficient in their roles.
• Coach and develop team members during shifts to uphold brand standards.
• Interact with customers, staff, and vendors, embodying core values of hospitality and integrity.
• Ensure operational excellence at all stations, completing required training programs.
• Utilize tools like MyInventory for labor management and inventory control.
• Perform additional duties to ensure smooth café operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong management, supervisory, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and aptitude for learning new software.
• Mathematical and analytical skills for inventory and labor management.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 pounds), and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to multi-task under stress.
