ServiceNow Developer
Key Responsibilities
- Configure tables, forms, fields, related lists, UI policies, data policies, and business rules.
- Develop scripts, Script Includes, client scripts, scheduled jobs, and notifications.
- Build flows, subflows, approvals, SLAs, escalations, and assignment rules.
- Configure Workspace/UI Builder pages, lists, actions, and role-based navigation.
- Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for case workload and status.
- Develop ATF tests and support regression testing and UAT defect correction.
- Document configurations, code, deployment steps, and technical decisions.
- Support environment promotion, production deployment, and post-release stabilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, electrical engineering, math, or equivalent technical studies (required)
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an Agile environment
- Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide API skills
- Experience with scoped applications, App Engine, Flow Designer, Workspace/UI Builder, ATF, and reporting
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow case-management patterns and secure data handling
- Experience configuring ACLs, roles, notifications, approvals, and audit history
- Ability to build REST integrations, import sets, and transform maps
- Experience with Agile user stories, peer review, defect tracking, and release management
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills
Desired Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
Additional Information
Work Authorization: Must be either a US citizen, and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Clearance: Background checks may include criminal history, education/certification and employment verifications, credit history, and fingerprinting (Public Trust investigations typically take 4–8 weeks).
Location: Hybrid remote, with occasional on-site as needed
Salary Range: $110,000 – $170,000 annually
