ServiceNow Developer
Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite Preferred)
Estimated Duration: 3 to 6 Month Contract-to-Hire
Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the USA
About the Role
We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support and expand an existing ServiceNow environment where ITSM is currently the primary service in use. The platform is already mature and in active use, so this role will focus heavily on building out forms, workflows, and automations rather than initial platform setup. The ideal candidate will bring strong ITSM experience along with hands-on Flow Designer and workflow automation skills, and will help shape the environment as the organization plans future CMDB implementation.
Responsibilities
- Build and configure forms, workflows, and automations within the existing ServiceNow ITSM environment.
- Support and enhance ITSM processes, with a focus on incidents and requests.
- Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, request forms, and portal-based workflows (end users interact through the portal, not the platform directly).
- Design workflows and forms using Flow Designer, a major focus area for this role.
- Align current development work with future CMDB architecture, as the organization plans to implement CMDB in the coming years.
- Support manual REST call processes through the organization's MID Server/data hub as needed (IntegrationHub-based integrations are not a current focus).
- Collaborate with the IT team to continue improving and maturing the ServiceNow platform.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, particularly in ITSM (incidents and requests).
- Proven experience with Flow Designer and building workflow automations.
- Experience developing and supporting Service Catalog items, request forms, and portal-based workflows.
- CMDB knowledge/experience highly valuable, as future implementation is planned and current development must align with future architecture.
- Familiarity with manual REST API calls via MID Server or data hub is a plus (IntegrationHub experience not required).
