SENIOR TREATMENT SUPERVISOR

About the role

Hiring a Senior Treatment Supervisor (Treatment Supervisor II) at our Abraxas I residential facility in Marienville, PA. The position involves directing activities, supervising staff, and providing clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains employee schedules.
• Interviews and selects candidates.
• Structures, implements, and facilitates new employee on-the-job orientation.
• Writes professional development plans.
• Conducts supervisory conferences and performance evaluations.
• Determines and implements progressive discipline.
• Responds to step 1 grievances.
• Schedules employee training.
• Directs and facilitates treatment-planning reviews.
• Provides ongoing clinical supervision.
• Schedules team meetings.
• Supports Abraxas philosophy and mission.
• Uses Safe Crisis Management effectively.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credits and four years experience working with children; OR Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience working with children; OR Master’s degree and one year of experience working with children.
• Experience working with children in a residential setting is required.
• Prior supervisory experience in a residential setting or similar is required.
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).
• Non-communicable diseases physical exam, drug testing & TB testing.
• Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license from employee’s state of residence.
• Valid registered vehicle insurance.
• Ability to work with computers and necessary software.

Qualifications

• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
