Senior Tax Specialist - Retail

Role Overview: A TurboTax Retail Expert is a dedicated, on-site professional responsible for providing personalized tax services and advice to customers in retail locations. Key Responsibilities: Offer hands-on tax preparation and guidance for simple to complex tax situations, maximizing refunds and minimizing liabilities.Engage with the community as a local ambassador, attracting new clients, nurturing relationships, and supporting marketing efforts.Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, trust-building, and personalized service.Utilize tax expertise, professional tools, and resources to deliver accurate, accessible tax solutions.Contribute to local marketing and community outreach initiatives to grow the customer base and enhance community engagement. Qualifications & Skills: Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience, including filing 30+ federal and state returns annually.Strong knowledge of tax law, familiarity with Circular 230, and ability to work onsite in a retail environment.Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for community engagement.Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.Proficiency with tax software and CRM tools, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
