Senior Solutions Architect, Strategic - SA Account
About the role
The AWS Senior Solutions Architect within the Strategic Accounts segment partners with our most valuable customers to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services. This role involves helping customers solve business challenges such as rapidly releasing products/services to the market or building an elastic, scalable, cost-optimized application. Additionally, the role entails influencing product direction and helping customers tap into new markets through the utilization of AWS Services.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth across a specific customer account
- Help organizations understand and implement advanced cloud-based solutions
- Migrate and scale existing workloads in the cloud
- Shape and execute a strategy to build knowledge and broad use of AWS
- Interact, communicate, and partner with other teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services
- Represent your team to executive management
Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Qualifications
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
Skills
Technical breadth complimented by technical depth in AI/ML Frameworks, or MLOps, business aptitude, and the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of the AWS platform and services.

Pay
Base salary range for this position is $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually.
