Senior Sales Manager - Northeast

About the role
The Senior Sales Manager - Northeast United States is a top-performing sales leader responsible for enabling high-performing sales teams and executing growth strategy. This remote role covers the Northeast Territory (OH, MI, IN, KY, WV, PA, MD, DE, NJ, NY, New England, and Eastern Canada) and requires 60%+ travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an Aftermarket growth plan and sales strategy for the territory to delight customers and ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Direct the Sales Organization to execute Preventive Maintenance plans and plant walkdowns, supporting customers in managing severe service assets for turnarounds, including recommended spare parts, upgrades of competitor assets, and service/repair of severe service assets.
- Ensure discipline in maintaining all customer-related activities in Salesforce; use data to direct sales team focus for improvement and customer delight.
- Exceed monthly and yearly sales targets for the territory.
- Lead regional sales forecasting to meet or exceed booking and revenue objectives.
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals with an emphasis on personal development, change management, and growth mindset.
- Develop new accounts: build sales pipeline, grow existing accounts, and establish new ones.
- Build and maintain corporate client relationships.
- Manage and develop channel partner relationships to ensure customer success; identify new agent partners in strategic locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of selling engineering solutions to customers within Power/Oil & Gas or 5+ years of sales management in related industries in the Northeast territory of the United States and Canada.
- Familiarity with Miller Heiman methodology.
- Experience with Sales ERP is required; Salesforce is a plus.
- Management experience handling a team of sales professionals.
- Proven track record of growth mindset, managing a team, and delivering growth year over year.
- Ability to travel at least 60% of the time.

Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderate (office/cubicle setting with computers, fax machines, and printers) to loud (manufacturing environment with large machinery operating).
Pay
Pay Range: $145,000 - $165,000. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive pay component, separate from base salary.
