Senior Regional Manager, Schwab Wealth Advisory
About the role
Schwab Wealth Advisory is a premier, fee-based and non-discretionary investment advisory solution providing clients with a personal relationship, specialized service, and ongoing advice built on Schwab's approach to investing. The Centralized Service & Operations group supports Fixed Income and Schwab Wealth Advisory clients through client-facing phone teams. The Wealth Strategies Consulting Group addresses complex wealth management needs of clients through Planning and Wealth Strategy teams, providing specialized products for income generation, risk mitigation, and liquidity.
Responsibilities
- Coach and counsel a team of 10-12 Wealth Advisors and Associate Wealth Advisors in a collaborative environment designed to grow and support the client base they support.
- Motivate your team by providing support and championing the collaborative Schwab culture.
- Build and foster relationships with internal partners such as Branch Managers, Regional Branch Executives, and Directors within the Investor Advice Solutions division.
- Develop others by sharing extensive financial services experience with your team of CFP® or CFA® investment professionals.
- Manage change by establishing strategies and designing plans to ensure asset and service targets are met.
- Manage performance by monitoring client interactions and coaching to improve service and advice quality.
- Coach daily planning and execution for SWAI clients, including compliance and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- CFP® designation, CFA® designation required (may consider 24-month condition of employment).
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license required (may consider a 120-day conditional offer of employment).
- Active and valid FINRA 66 license required (may consider a 120-day conditional offer of employment).
- Active and valid FINRA 9/10 required (may consider a 120-day conditional offer of employment).
- Five plus years' experience in the financial services industry.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience strongly preferred.
