Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing client relationships, delivering holistic financial planning and providing tailored investment guidance aligned with Schwab’s approach to investing.
  • Collaborate closely with an experienced advisory team to support clients through complex financial decisions while helping them stay focused on long-term goals.

Requirements

  • Client Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead complex client relationships, diagnose needs, navigate sensitive conversations, and influence decisions.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize high-impact activities, coordinate across partners, and communicate tradeoffs, timelines, and next steps.
  • Financial Planning: Proven ability to develop and communicate holistic financial plans for high-complexity scenarios, synthesizing inputs into actionable recommendations.
  • Coachability: Senior learning mindset, seeking input from peers and leaders, integrating feedback into measurable behavior changes, and coaching others.
  • Self-Awareness: Sound judgment and risk awareness, recognizing when situations exceed scope or require additional expertise, surfacing concerns early, and escalating with clear context and options.

Qualifications

  • CFP® designation or CFA® designation
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Active FINRA Series 7 license
  • Active FINRA Series 66 license (or equivalent)

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced financial planning and investment knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
