About the role

The Senior Regional Manager leads a team of 10-12 Wealth Advisors and Associate Wealth Advisors in Investor Advice Solutions, supporting clients through Schwab’s approach to investing. Reporting to the Regional Branch Executive, this role focuses on growing and supporting the client base.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and inspire a team of advisors to achieve their goals while fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and clients, including Branch Managers, Regional Branch Executives, and Directors within Investor Advice Solutions.
  • Coach and mentor a team of CFP® or CFA® investment professionals to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Establish strategies and plans to meet asset and service targets.
  • Monitor client interactions and coach to improve service and advice quality, ensuring compliance and administrative tasks are completed.

Requirements

  • CFP® designation, CFA® designation required (may consider a 24-month condition of employment).
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license required.
  • Active and valid FINRA 66 license required (may consider a 120-day COE).
  • Active and valid FINRA 9/10 required (may consider a 120-day COE).
  • Five plus years’ experience in the financial services industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience strongly preferred.
