Senior Project Engineer - Weld

Manage the maturation of processes, equipment, and training through T Stage build events. The role involves lifting up to 20 lbs, operating tools, and traveling as needed. Responsibilities

• Review business plans, set targets, and align with company vision.
• Investigate new manufacturing technologies and specifications.
• Support drawing reviews, virtual builds, and mentor project teams on weld-specific design considerations.
• Evaluate design changes, manage impact on production, and prepare evaluations and reports.
• Coordinate build activities, monitor progress, and ensure timely closure of pending items.
• Lead feedback sessions and support shutdown builds, installations, and testing.
• Maintain regular meetings with teams to review SAP status and track equipment, standards, and training progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling (preferably CATIA), knowledge of Honda design systems, and cost management skills.
