Senior Project Controls (LSNA-VA)
About the role
We're looking for a driven and curious Senior Project Controls professional in Richmond/Goochland, VA to support our Program Management Team. You’ll provide solid forecasting, cost engineering, reporting, and subcontractor invoicing while working on large capital projects. Responsibilities
- Manage Construction Management (CM) service budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, and project financial performance.
- Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting processes.
- Manage subcontractors, purchase orders, service agreements, and pass-through costs associated with project execution.
- Review and approve project-related expenses while ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.
- Support construction site operations, logistics planning, and large-scale project execution.
- Utilize enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, EcoSys, Power BI, or other project controls and financial management platforms.
- Lead and communicate effectively in fast-paced project environments with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
- 10+ years of experience supporting large capital projects in construction management, site logistics, project controls, operations, or project management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting EPCM or EPC projects exceeding $500M in total installed cost.
- Experience leading site logistics, construction support services, or field operations for major industrial, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, or energy projects.
- Knowledge of project delivery systems, project controls processes, and financial management practices.
- Familiarity with General Conditions management, field cost control, and construction indirect cost forecasting.
- PMP, CCM, or other relevant professional certification.
- Experience mentoring and developing project controls, logistics, or site operations personnel.
- Advanced Power BI reporting and data analytics experience.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $123,600.00 to $200,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Hybrid working policy allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
