About the role

We are looking for a driven and curious Project Controls professional in the Raleigh Area to support our Program Management Team. You’ll work on forecasting, cost engineering, reporting, and subcontractor invoicing. This role offers opportunities to develop your skills, explore global projects, and share your knowledge across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports for engineering, construction, or capital projects.
  • Analyze cost performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare presentations and effectively engage leadership teams, facilitating discussions and communicating key messages.
  • Perform cost forecasting, estimate reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cost engineering, project controls, project management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with project controls and cost management software such as EcoSys, Primavera Unifier, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Finance, or other business-related field (preferred).
  • Experience supporting EPCM, industrial, life sciences, infrastructure, advanced facilities, or energy projects (preferred).
  • Experience with Primavera Unifier, EcoSys IPCS, and Polaris, plus other proprietary system tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with change management, risk management, and contingency tracking processes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $175,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
