About the role
We are looking for a driven and curious Project Controls professional in the Raleigh Area to support our Program Management Team. You’ll have the chance to work on this team providing solid forecasting, cost engineering, reporting, and subcontractor invoicing. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports for engineering, construction, or capital projects.
- Perform cost forecasting, estimate reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting.
- Evaluate cost performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Engage leadership teams, facilitate discussions, and communicate key messages effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cost engineering, project controls, project management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with project controls and cost management software such as EcoSys, Primavera Unifier, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative project team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Finance, or other business management-related degree (preferred).
- Experience supporting EPCM, industrial, life sciences, infrastructure, advanced facilities, or energy projects (preferred).
- Experience with Primavera Unifier, EcoSys IPCS, and Polaris, plus other proprietary system tools (preferred).
- Familiarity with change management, risk management, and contingency tracking processes (preferred).

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $175,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
