Project Controls (LSNA-TX/VA)
About the role
We are looking for a driven and curious Project Controls professional in Richmond, VA, Houston, TX, Elkton, VA to support our Program Management Team. You’ll have the chance to work on this team providing solid forecasting, cost engineering, reporting and subcontractor invoicing.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing solid forecasting, cost engineering, reporting, and subcontractor invoicing. You will also have the opportunity to work on project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports for engineering, construction, or capital projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Finance, or other business management related degree; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience in cost engineering, project controls, project management, or a related field
- Experience developing and maintaining project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports for engineering, construction, or capital projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate cost performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
- Experience with project controls and cost management software such as EcoSys, Primavera Unifier, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems
- Ability to perform cost forecasting, estimate reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative project team environment
Qualifications
- Ideally, experience supporting EPCM, industrial, life sciences, infrastructure, advanced facilities, or energy projects
- Experience with Primavera Unifier, EcoSys IPCS, and Polaris, plus other proprietary system tools
- Familiarity with change management, risk management, and contingency tracking processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $145,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
