About the role

Support our Program Management Team providing solid forecasting, cost engineering, reporting and subcontractor invoicing. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports for engineering, construction, or capital projects
  • Evaluate cost performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Perform cost forecasting, estimate reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Finance, or other business management related degree; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of experience in cost engineering, project controls, project management, or a related field
  • Experience developing and maintaining project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports for engineering, construction, or capital projects
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate cost performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
  • Experience with project controls and cost management software such as EcoSys, Primavera Unifier, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems
  • Ability to perform cost forecasting, estimate reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative project team environment

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting EPCM, industrial, life sciences, infrastructure, advanced facilities, or energy projects
  • Experience with Primavera Unifier, EcoSys IPCS, and Polaris, plus other proprietary system tools
  • Familiarity with change management, risk management, and contingency tracking processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

Pay

Base salary range: $85,000.00 to $145,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Hybrid working policy allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
