Our team is looking to add a Senior Project Controls at our Conshohocken, PA locations who will be responsible for award winning projects.

Performing client management / interfacing / updates / presentations at all levels of management, Project Controls partners with Project Managers to ensure complete awareness of project cost, risks and provide alternative strategies for mitigation / opportunities. Jacobs Engineering Group utilizes advanced Enterprise System platforms and data analysis solutions to support service excellence.

Responsibilities

Specifically, you’ll perform the controls for the Program and all associated projects. This will include, managing the overall project controls and reporting function, interfacing with other project team members, including Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Office planning, IT, Accounting, Economics and Finance, Tax, Contracts and Legal, to facilitate compliance with execution strategy and objectives with cost efficiency.

  • Provide status reports and related project reporting analyses to company and client management
  • Identify problems and coordinate with the project team to correct and ensure work is being coordinated between the other departments and offices to meet project cost requirements
  • Prepare various project cost controls plans and reports, financial summaries, and related activities for project management on assigned projects
  • Manage work processes, and procedures for cost management
  • Evaluate projects at each stage of development to ensure cost and financial activities of the project team inclusive of ensuring client/contractual obligations have been met
  • Review contract drafts and related terms & conditions to ensure they meet project cost controls requirements and coordinate

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field would be considered; or equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of degree

  • 10+ years of related project controls experience in an EPCM industry environment preferred
  • Experience working on various projects to include coordinating and executing project issues
  • Specific experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management and cost analysis
  • Experience Working inside the Primavera (P6) scheduling tool and Schedule Analysis/Acumen Fuse
  • Experience in project controls, commercial operations, with emphasis on project controls and financial issues

Qualifications

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
  • Ability to develop cost / schedule analysis presentations both graphically, written, and verbally
  • MS in an Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Sciences Discipline, but not required
  • Skills with Excel Macro level, Databases (MSAccess), Power BI and dashboard development, desirable

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $132,900.00 to $225,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Please note This role is NOT remote. This position is required to be in the Conshohocken, PA office at least three days a week. There is no per diem available.
