About the role

As a Senior Product Associate in Digital Communications, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of internal communication tools that help teams deliver effective customer-facing communications.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Write the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Support product development for internal customer-facing tools, with a focus on capabilities that enable content creation, configuration, and communication delivery workflows
  • Translate business needs, user feedback, and operational pain points into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other product artifacts that support front-end and platform product delivery
  • Partner with technology, design, controls, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver stable, scalable product enhancements, support production readiness, manage delivery dependencies, and promote responsible use of approved tools to accelerate workflows

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Experience supporting product development for internal platforms, workflow tools, self-service tools, content management systems, or enterprise communication tools
  • Ability to apply platform thinking to solve business problems in a scalable, reusable, and maintainable way, while balancing user needs, technical feasibility, operational impacts, and control considerations
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and execution skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems, work closely with technology partners, manage competing priorities, and create clear product documentation for varied audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience using approved AI-enabled tools to accelerate product management workflows, such as research synthesis, requirements drafting, prototyping, backlog refinement, stakeholder communications, or team organization
  • Experience creating lightweight prototypes, wireframes, process flows, user journeys, or other artifacts to clarify user needs, align stakeholders, and accelerate solution design
  • Experience supporting integrations between front-end tools and back-end platforms, APIs, document systems, notification engines, workflow tools, or content management systems
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization with multiple business, technology, operations, risk, control, legal, or compliance stakeholders
  • Familiarity with front-end product concepts, including information architecture, usability, accessibility, and workflow design
