Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive (Specialty)
About the role
The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive (Specialty) plays a crucial role in influencing key decision makers to route specialty drug prescriptions to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy. This position involves building relationships with front and back-office staff, providing education on specialty pharmacy medications, and managing a sales territory.
Responsibilities
- Engage with physician offices to influence prescription routing to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy.
- Build and maintain relationships with front and back-office staff through sales calls.
- Provide staff education on options for patient use of specialty pharmacy medications.
- Stay informed about specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefits.
- Manage a sales territory that includes CenterWell, a Humana-owned brand offering Primary Care, Home Health, and Pharmacy services.
- Perform work without direct supervision, making decisions on complex issues regarding technical approaches.
Requirements
- Previous sales experience with documented success of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Experience analyzing sales data and market trends to make effective decisions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a collaborative, team-oriented approach in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships across partnering business segments to support organizational goals.
- Comfortable with being in the field 5 days/week within territory lines, and occasional overnight travel.

- Must reside in or be within commuting distance of Northern Illinois, through Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and up to Green Bay, Wisconsin, or be willing to relocate to the area at their own expense.

Pay
$84,700 - $115,500 per year
Schedule
This role is part of Humana's Fleet Driver safety program and requires an individual to take possession of a company fleet vehicle and have a valid state driver's license. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Workstyle: Field
Travel Required: Up to 50%, 5 days/week within an assigned territory line, with occasional overnight travel.
