About the role

The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive (Specialty) plays a crucial role in influencing key decision makers to route specialty drug prescriptions to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy, thereby increasing prescriptions and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Use targeted geographic analysis to engage with physician offices and influence prescription routing to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Build relationships with front and back-office staff through sales calls within the territory.
  • Provide staff education and information on options for patient use of specialty pharmacy medications.
  • Become a knowledgeable resource regarding specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefits.

Requirements

  • Reside in or be within commuting distance of Northern Illinois, through Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and up to Green Bay, Wisconsin, or willing to relocate at own expense.
  • Previous sales experience with documented success of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Experience analyzing sales data and market trends to make effective decisions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a collaborative, team-oriented approach in dynamic environments.
  • Proven ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships across partnering business segments to support organizational goals.
  • Comfortable with being in the field 5 days/week within territory lines, and occasional overnight travel.

  • Manage a sales territory that includes CenterWell, a Humana-owned brand offering Primary Care, Home Health, and Pharmacy services.

Pay

$84,700 - $115,500 per year.

Schedule

Monday – Friday; Central Standard Time (CST).

Additional Information

  • Workstyle: Field.
  • Travel Required: Up to 50%, 5 days/week within an assigned territory line, with occasional overnight travel.
  • Driving Record: Evaluated as part of a third-party background check.
  • Internet Service: Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; satellite, cellular and microwave connections can be used only if approved by leadership.
  • California, Illinois, Montana, and South Dakota employees may be provided a bi-weekly payment for internet expense.
  • Humana will provide telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for the position/job.
  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Interview Format: HireVue.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40.
