About the role
The On-Premise Execution Senior Specialist supports the execution and achievement of Annual Business Plan (ABP) targets for the On-Premise Channel within their geographic area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development and delivery of local business plans in coordination with distributor management teams.
- Manages local market execution, focusing on driving superior retail execution against ABP targets and enhancing overall market execution.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with strategic national/regional/independent accounts, supporting the development of local market programs and promotional activities.
- Executes CBI’s on-premise strategies and key sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with ABP targets and growth strategies.
- Identifies and prioritizes programming in strategic accounts, keeping up to date with influencer/strategic accounts impacting market performance.
- Reports local market activity and key business updates to the Senior On-Premise Market Execution Manager and key stakeholders.
- Ensures national and key account programming is executed at the local market level, driving best in class retail execution.
- Manages the sales budgeting process, ensuring proper allocation and deployment of organizational resources.
- Works in partnership with the broader sales team to build plans that identify target package/brand opportunities, target account lists, and resource allocations.
- Executes new product/packaging rollout plans, coordinating with the broader sales team to ensure successful implementation.
- Supports the execution of local market plans to increase distribution and availability of industry-leading brands in the on-premise channel.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in sales (in lieu of degree, minimum of four years sales experience with a malt beverage supplier or wholesaler).
- Four years of retail sales experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry (malt beverage preferred).
- Complete understanding of the on-premise retail environment.
- Working knowledge of the promotional marketing process.
- Computer literacy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email programs.
- Ability to utilize business information reporting and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 20-30% of working time, including driving up to 5 hours.
- Self-starter with strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong relationships, initiate action, and adjust to change.
- Effective communication skills and ability to influence at all levels, internal or external to the company.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license, ability to drive a car, and travel via plane/train as needed.
- At least 21 years of age.
