Senior Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager

Rippling is a San Francisco, CA based company that brings together all of the workforce systems for businesses, allowing them to manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system. We are seeking a Senior Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager to join our Revenue Operations team.

About the role

The Senior Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager will act as a business partner for Marketing leadership, building monthly and quarterly reporting while driving ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities and problem areas within the business. They will frame business problems for the Marketing organization and recommend and execute solutions to opportunities and problem areas. This role will also lead cross-functional strategic projects, coordinate with Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Finance teammates on systems and process improvements, and partner cross-functionally on key components of our annual planning process.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner for Marketing leadership
  • Build monthly and quarterly reporting while driving ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities and problem areas within the business
  • Frame business problems for the Marketing organization and communicate insights while recommending and executing solutions to opportunities and problem areas
  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects; including structuring business problems, exploring solutions, implementing/refining processes, and measuring impact
  • Partner cross-functionally on key components of our annual planning process including modeling and target setting
  • Cover systems and process improvements for the Marketing organization

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional work experience or 6+ years at a Tech company (ideally B2B SaaS)
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving startup or a hyper growth environment
  • Expert-level analytical, modeling, and conceptual problem-solving skills
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Expertise using Microsoft Excel / Google G-Sheets, familiarity with BI Tools (Tableau, Snowflake)
  • Experience using AI and SQL is preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Revenue/Sales Operations, Marketing Strategy, Marketing / Sales Finance, Business Operations, Consulting, or Investment Banking role
