About the role

Alexa Leo is Amazon's low earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to provide fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. We serve individuals, schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies in areas without reliable connectivity.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develops operations models and oversees supply chain, sales orders, and inventory management.
  • Develops a team of Business Operations Managers responsible for supply and demand planning, inventory management, material allocations, sales orders, and fulfillment.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to establish wafer and ASIC supply chain process and overall structure of the business.
  • Leading supply chain and inventory management, setting goals, and strategic directions, and driving automation and process improvements.
  • Lead and drive operational collaboration with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Provide leadership on project selection, scope, definition and performance to ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Train team members on new processes and ensure effective communication of change.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • 7+ years of technical program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience in people management
  • Experience in technical program management
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of work in internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment
  • Knowledge of cloud computing services or deployment architecture
  • Experience working in an internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
  • Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
  • Master's degree or equivalent
