Senior Manager - Strategic Sourcing, Amazon Leo

About the role

The ideal candidate will lead the Business Operations for Amazon Leo, supporting business and engineering stakeholders in selecting, developing, and managing business relationships with critical technology and service suppliers. This includes leading cross-functional initiatives to establish wafer and ASIC supply chain processes and overall business structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop operations models and oversee supply chain, sales orders, and inventory management.
• Lead a team of Business Operations Managers responsible for supply and demand planning, inventory management, material allocations, sales orders, and fulfillment.
• Lead and drive operational collaboration with suppliers and internal customers.
• Provide leadership on project selection, scope, definition, and performance to ensure alignment with business strategy.
• Train team members on new processes and ensure effective communication of change.

Requirements

• 7+ years of people management experience
• 7+ years of technical program management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Experience in people management
• Experience in technical program management
• Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent

Skills

• Knowledge of cloud computing services or deployment architecture
• Experience working in an internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• Experience with agile or other program management methodologies

Pay

Base salary range: $223,900.00 - $302,900.00 USD annually for the position in Los Angeles County, and $194,700.00 - $263,400.00 USD annually for the position in Seattle.

Schedule

Full-time position.
