About the role
Own the PR Voice for One of the Fastest-Growing Consumer Portfolios in the World
Beast Industries is building a portfolio of consumer brands at remarkable speed, and we're looking for a senior PR professional to be the in-house communications lead for our Consumer Goods & Services division.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute proactive and reactive PR strategies across the full Beast Industries consumer goods portfolio
- Monitor trends in food, retail, and consumer culture to identify timely opportunities for brand storytelling and media engagement
- Secure coverage across consumer media, food and lifestyle publications, podcasts, and digital platforms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, content creators, and influencers in the consumer goods space
- Partner with the marketing team to ensure PR efforts align with and amplify broader campaign and social media activity
- Develop press materials including pitches, press releases, and messaging frameworks
- Direct and align our external agency partner on priorities and execution
- Report on media coverage and PR impact to the CCO and key business stakeholders regularly
Requirements
- 6-10 years of PR experience with a strong focus on consumer goods, food & beverage, or CPG brands
- Established relationships with consumer goods and food media journalists, editors, podcast hosts, and influencers
- Proven experience executing both proactive campaigns and rapid-response PR in a consumer brand context
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to keeping stakeholders informed and aligned
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate with a high degree of ownership
Qualifications
- Experience in-house at a consumer goods or food & beverage company, or at a PR agency specializing in CPG, is a strong plus
- Familiarity with the creator economy and how traditional PR intersects with influencer and digital content strategies is a plus

Benefits
- Target total compensation ranges from $158,000 - $206,000, including a fixed annual salary of $118,000 - $160,000, an employee equity plan grant, bonus, plus comprehensive benefits
