Join our team as a Production Technician at Bimbo Bakeries USA. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, maintaining equipment, and adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on production equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Follow all quality control procedures to ensure product meets Bimbo Bakeries USA standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall plant performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using basic office software.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Knowledge of food processing and handling practices.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
