About The Role
We are hiring a Senior Manager, Business Operations to be Veho's internal execution engine. This person owns two interconnected things: the operating rhythm that keeps the company aligned on its priorities, and the ability to lead high-priority cross-functional efforts that do not have a natural home. On the planning side, this means owning the OKR and business planning cadence end to end, making sure leaders are aligned on short-, mid-, and long-term priorities, that planning cycles are sequenced and clear, and that the operating rhythm is reliable and scalable. On the cross-functional side, this means standing up tiger teams, small groups assembled to attack high-priority problems that span functions and lack a clear owner, diagnosing root causes from first principles, and driving durable fixes with speed.
What Makes This Role Hard and Interesting
This role is hard and interesting because it combines the discipline of running a reliable planning machine with the agility of dropping into unfamiliar territory, earning trust without authority, and driving a solution with urgency. It is a builder-operator role, not a coordinator role. You will start as a solo operator and grow the function as the scope earns it.
What You’ll Do
OKR & Business Planning - Own the end-to-end OKR process: drafting, leadership alignment, quarterly tracking, and keeping team goals connected to company priorities. Run the planning cadence: sequence short-, mid-, and long-term planning cycles, define inputs and outputs, and keep the process on track. Build operating infrastructure: create the templates, trackers, and dashboards that make the planning rhythm repeatable and not dependent on heroics. Drive decisions, not just process: produce pre-reads and decision-forcing content that help senior leaders align quickly and leave the room with clear owners and next steps. Serve as a trusted partner to leadership: turn ambiguous priorities into actionable plans that people actually execute, and messy operational data into key insights leadership actually needs to act on.
Tiger Teams & Cross-Functional Execution - Stand up and lead tiger teams on high-priority cross-functional problems that span functions and lack a clear owner. Define the scope, align on what done looks like, and drive to a resolution. Diagnose from first principles: go to where the work actually happens- the warehouse, the route, the dock, the raw data- to find root causes rather than relying on second-hand reports. Run the workplan: define milestones, assign owners, run the cadence, and clear blockers with urgency. Land the fix: hand off a durable solution to a permanent owner so the problem stays solved and the value is captured. Build stakeholder relationships: earn influence through competence and follow-through, not title. Surface problems and bad news early.
Experience We’re Looking For
8+ years of total experience, with a strong foundation in management consulting and a meaningful chapter in Strategy & Operations or BizOps at a high-growth company.
A demonstrated track record of driving concrete operational outcomes, not just producing analysis or recommendations.
Hands-on experience owning a planning or OKR process, or a clear analog.
Fluency using AI tools to accelerate analysis, reporting, and execution.
Experience at a company with physical or logistical operations (logistics, supply chain, marketplaces, on-demand) is a plus.
