Job Summary
The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love for you to be a part of it as our Senior Manager, Business Operations. As Senior Manager, Business Operations, you will be a key leader responsible for the success and scaling of our Business Operations function. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations and Partnerships, you will sit at the intersection of high-level strategy and rigorous execution, equally comfortable developing a recommendation for leadership and rolling up your sleeves to make it happen. You will be expected to own outcomes, not just drive process.
What You Will Do As A Senior Manager, Business Operations
- Own end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives from definition through execution, including launching and scaling new products and services.
- Develop strategies grounded in a deep understanding of business goals, constraints, and market dynamics, supported by rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers, providers, and partners to build a strong point of view on what matters in each initiative and use that to inform our strategy and how we prioritize.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Operations, Finance, Legal and more, to align on priorities, remove blockers, and move with urgency.
- Establish and run the operating rhythm of the division, including annual planning cycles, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing goal tracking.
- Drive group-wide prioritization and tradeoff decisions, ensuring resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities.
- Drive adoption of shared dashboards and reports, maintain visibility into initiative KPIs, and proactively surface insights with clear recommendations.
- Serve as a member of the Porch Consumer Services leadership team.
What You Will Bring As A Senior Manager, Business Operations
- 6-12 years of experience in strategy or business operations, preferably at a high-growth startup or technology company.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution with measurable results, including launching new products or service offerings.
- Strong bias to action; comfortable operating with ambiguity, moving with urgency, and staying focused on outcomes over process.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to align stakeholders across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Experience building and running internal operating cadences, including business reviews, planning cycles, and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
- Comfort using AI tools as a genuine accelerator and core part of your work across research, analysis, automation, and communication.
