About the role

Join Crusoe’s Business Operations team within the CFO/COO function, where you’ll serve as the bridge between executive strategy and operational execution. This role will be actively involved in building Crusoe's operating rhythm and informing decision-making. You'll drive the company's most critical cross-functional initiatives, making sure speed and structure move together. This role will also help establish Crusoe’s M&A integration function, creating the standardized playbooks, workflows, and structures we need to execute deals rapidly and capture their full value.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Company Initiatives: Lead high-priority initiatives that connect the dots across energy, infrastructure, cloud, and SG&A, focused on driving cross-functional alignment and business outcomes.
  • M&A Integration Playbook: Help build Crusoe’s M&A integration muscle (the playbooks and frameworks we’ll reuse across every deal) and lead end-to-end integration execution for active transactions, coordinating across product, finance, legal, people, engineering, and ops.
  • Analysis & Insights: Structure ambiguous problems, synthesize data from across the business, and deliver actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Operating Rhythm and Process Improvement: Design and roll out operational frameworks and processes that improve how Crusoe plans, makes decisions, and executes.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Step into ambiguous, high-stakes projects that will help move the needle on our business; define the problem, structure the work, and drive to outcome.

Requirements

  • Must-Haves:
    • 8+ years of experience in business operations, M&A integration, corporate development, management consulting, investment banking, or a comparable role at a high-growth technology or capital-intensive company.
    • Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from scoping through execution.
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate insights to senior leaders.
    • Prowed ability to build trusted relationships and drive alignment across teams without direct authority.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Hands-on experience running M&A integrations (not just advising on them) including building playbooks, work-plans, managing cross-functional work-streams, and tracking against milestones.
    • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative or business discipline.
    • Experience with consumption-based or capital intensive business models.
    • Experience in businesses related to artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, and/or AI chip development.
