Overview

Paramount+ is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Operations to join their team in New York. This role operates the company's end-to-end business operations, from budget planning to vendor onboarding, invoice tracking, task management, and cross-functional intake.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update budget allocations across top-down and per-title frameworks; track spend against approved budgets and flag variances in real time.
  • Own PO issuance, coding, and reconciliation across all active vendor engagements.
  • Manage invoice tracking from submission through payment confirmation; ensure AP accuracy and timeliness in coordination with Finance.
  • Support intercompany bill-backs and remittance processes as needed.
  • Manage the full SOW lifecycle: initiation, redlines, execution, and renewal/expiration tracking.
  • Onboard new vendors in accordance with compliance and Finance requirements; maintain current and accurate vendor records (contacts, rates, contract status, deliverables).
  • Track vendor deliverable milestones and flag delays that impact budget or timelines.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Licensing on contract reviews and content usage approvals as needed.
  • Own the master task board as the single source of truth for all open Business Operations work; monitor task age and escalate stalled or blocked items.
  • Routinely route incoming cross-functional requests to the correct owner with clear priorities and deadlines; drive closure across all active work streams.
  • Identify and escalate risks before they become problems: budget drift, slipped deliverables, approval loop delays.
  • Own the Airtable operating system: architecture, data hygiene, and ongoing optimization.
  • Enforce process adherence across all contributors — internal and external — and maintain documentation for all workflows, decision rules, and escalation paths.
  • Audit records regularly to ensure system data reflects operational reality; identify gaps before they create downstream issues.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact between Creative, Finance, Legal, and Vendors.
  • Manage intake from non-Biz Ops stakeholders; translate requests into actionable, tracked work.
  • Produce real-time status visibility for the VP of Business Operations and C-suite as needed.
  • Ensure cross-functional dependencies are visible, assigned, and closed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, project operations, or a related operational function.
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and contract workflows end-to-end.
  • Hands-on experience with budget tracking, PO management, and financial operations.
  • Direct ownership of a workflow or project management system (Airtable, Monday.com, Asana, or equivalent) — builder-level, not just user-level.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to hold a high volume of open threads simultaneously without dropping any.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work across Finance, Legal, Creative, and external partners.
  • Experience in media, streaming, entertainment, or marketing operations.
  • Familiarity with AP/AR workflows, PO systems, or finance operations at a content company.
  • Airtable system ownership — builds, automations, and architecture, not just usage.
  • Experience operating in a lean, high-velocity team where you were the person holding the system together.
  • Comfort working across multiple time zones and with matrixed stakeholder groups.
  • A positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a low tolerance for ambiguity that isn’t your own to resolve.
