Senior Loan Quality Specialist, Ag Lending

About the role

The Senior Loan Quality Control Specialist, Ag Lending will work side-by-side with the Agricultural Loan Officers to assist with quality control, organization, filing, and any other tasks that are necessary. The role also involves helping with other aspects of the bank as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all closed loans have been reviewed and files are checked for completeness.
• Avoid any defects found on loan reviews by responding to them in a timely manner.
• Handle company information with a high level of confidentiality and security.
• Collect documentation for various audits conducted throughout the year.
• Act as a liaison between auditors and Agricultural Loan personnel.
• Maintain insurance expiration dates and obtain renewal information from customers if needed.
• Focus on the Ag Community and project a positive image for the bank with both current and prospective customers.
• Assist with customer requests in the absence of a loan officer and ensure customer service meets or exceeds expectations.
• Perform general teller responsibilities and assist in other areas of the bank as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree desired but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Agricultural industry knowledge is desired.
