Senior Loan Quality, Ag Lending
About the role
The Senior Loan Quality Control, Ag Lending position works alongside Agricultural Loan Officers to assist with quality control, organization, filing, and other necessary tasks. Additional responsibilities include helping with other aspects of the bank as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all closed loans have been reviewed and files are complete with all required documentation.
- Work within regulatory guidelines and bank policies applicable to the Agricultural Loan Officer's support area.
- Respond promptly to any defects found during loan reviews.
- Handle company information with high levels of confidentiality and security.
- Collect documentation for various audits conducted annually.
- Act as a liaison between auditors and Agricultural Loan personnel.
- Maintain insurance expiration dates and obtain renewal information from customers as needed.
- Focus on the Agricultural Community and maintain a positive image for the bank with both current and prospective customers.
- Assist with customer requests in the absence of a loan officer and ensure customer service meets or exceeds expectations.
- Perform general teller responsibilities and other duties as directed by Agricultural Loan Officers to enhance efficiency and workload balance.
- Facilitate and assist in other areas of the bank as deemed necessary by management to ensure operational soundness and a positive perception of the bank.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree desired but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Agricultural Industry knowledge is desired.
- Exceptional attention to detail, a team-first attitude, and a strong desire for long-term quality results.
- Leadership skills among peers.
- Exceptional knowledge and proficiency of Expected Outcomes.
