I'm currently conducting a confidential search for an experienced Senior Loan Officer with a strong background in agricultural lending, commercial credit, and relationship development. Position Overview This opportunity is ideal for a motivated banking professional who enjoys building and managing high-value customer relationships while combining strong credit and underwriting skills with business development. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of approximately 30-40 customer relationshipsDevelop and maintain complex agricultural and commercial lending relationshipsFocus on relationships with $1MM+ aggregate balancesGenerate new business while retaining and expanding existing relationshipsServe as the primary relationship manager for assigned customersConduct annual renewals, pricing discussions, and term negotiationsPartner with Credit, Operations, and other internal teamsMonitor portfolio performance, utilization, and credit riskCollect and review financial statements and required documentationMaintain accurate pipeline, portfolio, and relationship activityIdentify opportunities for additional financing and banking services Ideal Background 3-5+ years of credit and underwriting experienceStrong agricultural lending backgroundProven business development and relationship management experienceStrong understanding of commercial creditAbility to build relationships while maintaining strong credit qualityExperience with loan documentationSelf-motivated, driven, and entrepreneurialExcellent communication and customer relationship skillsLeadership experience is a plus This is a confidential search.
