About the role

The Senior IT Project Manager oversees AI system projects and/or programs of a complex nature. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and lead the project team, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure completion of AI delivery projects.
  • Coordinate across engineering, product, data, and partners to move evolving AI work into structured, deliverable execution.
  • Manage stakeholder partnerships and mitigate risks.
  • Understand the system scope and project objectives, and the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
  • Oversee the interdependencies and integration of interrelated AI projects, set strategies, and lead program execution to deliver longer-term business value.
  • Apply knowledge of AI/ML delivery concepts, including model lifecycle, MLOps fundamentals, GenAI and agentic workflows, and responsible AI practices, alongside SDLC and ITIL frameworks to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects.
  • Partner effectively with product management and engineering stakeholders to translate technical direction into structured delivery plans.
  • Influence the department's strategy.
  • Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5 or more years of technical project management experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in technical product selection, technical design, and practical implementation of IT solutions
  • Familiar with AI/ML delivery concepts, including model lifecycle, MLOps fundamentals, GenAI/agentic workflows, and responsible AI practices
  • Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Experience delivering AI or GenAI projects
  • Translate between data science, engineering, product, and business partners

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • Hands-on fluency using AI tools to accelerate delivery, including generative AI assistants, agentic workflows, and workflow automation
  • Familiarity with responsible AI and model risk concepts
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, cloud-native data stacks)
  • Experience in the health solutions industry

Skills

  • Working knowledge of AI/ML delivery concepts, including model lifecycle, MLOps fundamentals, GenAI/agentic workflows, and responsible AI practices

Pay

$104,000 - $143,000 per year

Schedule

This position follows a Hybrid work style (2-3 days a week in office).

The candidate must live close to one of our designated IT locations: Louisville, KY; Tampa, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Dallas/Frisco, TX; Boston, MA; New York City, NY; Washington, D.C; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Chicago, IL, or Charlotte, NC.
