About the role

The Senior IT Project Manager oversees AI system projects and/or programs of a complex nature. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

  • Bring project management discipline to Enterprise AI projects, coordinating across engineering, product, data, and partners to move evolving AI work into structured, deliverable execution.
  • Asemble and lead the project team, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure completion of AI delivery projects.
  • Manage stakeholder partnerships and mitigate risks.

  • Oversee the interdependencies and integration of interrelated AI projects, and set strategies and lead program execution to deliver longer-term business value.
  • Apply working knowledge of AI/ML delivery concepts, including model lifecycle, MLOps fundamentals, GenAI and agentic workflows, and responsible AI practices, alongside Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects.
  • Partner effectively with product management and engineering stakeholders to translate technical direction into structured delivery plans.
  • Begins to influence the department's strategy.
  • Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5 or more years of technical project management experience
  • 5 or more years experience in technical product selection, technical design, and practical implementation of IT solutions
  • Familiar with the system scope and project objectives, and the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of AI/ML delivery concepts, including model lifecycle, MLOps fundamentals, GenAI/agentic workflows, and responsible AI practices
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Experience delivering AI or GenAI projects
  • Translate between data science, engineering, product, and business partners

Skills

  • Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
