About the role

A growing professional services firm is seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources to lead firmwide HR strategy and operations. This fully remote leadership role partners closely with executive leadership to drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and organizational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead firmwide HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting for attorneys and professional staff.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational development.
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, investigations, and policy administration.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, EEO regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Lead compensation planning, career development, benefits oversight, and HRIS management.
  • Present HR metrics and workforce analytics to executive leadership.
  • Mentor and develop the HR team while driving process improvements and operational excellence.
  • Champion employee engagement, DEI initiatives, and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in senior HR leadership.
  • Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation, and benefits.
  • Experience leading HR teams and partnering with executive leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and organizational development.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now; additional HRIS experience is a plus.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
