About the role

Turning the Corner HR is supporting Lighthouse Neurofeedback & Behavioral Health in their search for a Senior HR Generalist.

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding
  • Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees regarding policies, procedures, employee concerns, and workplace issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR regulations including FLSA, POWR Act, EPEW, leave laws, and other applicable employment requirements
  • Aid in policy development, implementation, and ongoing updates
  • Support compensation, benefits administration, and leave management processes
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and administrative processes
  • Assist with recruiting efforts including job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, and onboarding logistics
  • Partner with leadership to improve HR systems, workflows, and internal processes
  • Help support a positive, professional, and accountable workplace culture

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience required
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, employment law, and HR best practices
  • Experience supporting hiring, onboarding, compensation, benefits administration, leave management, and HR operations
  • Experience assisting with policy development and implementation
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and Colorado employment regulations
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll platforms; Paylocity experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, especially related to payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or service-based industries preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred
  • PHIR, SHRM-CP, or related certification is a plus
