About the role
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team in West Deptford, NJ and Newark, DE. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct human resources for around 150 employees
- Collaborate with employees, leaders, and the HR team to manage talent management and development, employee engagement, performance management, diversity and inclusion, recruitment and selection, HR compliance, training, policy development, compensation planning, etc.
- Protect employee interests and ensure compliance with human resources policies and laws
- Provide counsel on conflict resolution, discipline, and terminations
- Investigate disputes and recommend resolutions
- Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives
- Foster a positive workplace culture and promote effective human resources practices
- Initiate and recommend policies and procedures to achieve organizational objectives
- Lead annual compensation processes for salaried and hourly employees
- Stay informed of HR trends and regulatory changes
- Partner with managers and employees to build a positive, productive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture
- Participate in community actions to strengthen community bonds with Syensqo
- Collaborate with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of human resources experience
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Thorough knowledge of California regulations regarding human resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, facilitation, and customer service skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Effective coaching and technical/functional knowledge of HR practices

- U.S. annual base salary range: $98,720 to $123,400

Pay
The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $98,720 to $123,400. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, such as skills, experience, qualifications, etc. and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
Schedule
This is an onsite role in West Deptford, NJ with expected travel to our Newark, DE site on a bi-weekly basis.
