Responsibilities
- Provide onsite HR support to employees and managers at assigned site(s), answering questions on policies, programs, and processes.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for a designated client group of approximately 50–75 employees, providing day-to-day employee and manager support.
- Cook up employee life cycle activities, including onboarding and offboarding, and process employee changes through the MyHR system.
- Manage the employee exit process as the first point of contact following MyHR submissions, partnering with managers and HR Partners to ensure timely separations.
- Serve as the point of contact for leave management and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, partnering with HR Partners as needed.
- Aid in unemployment claims by supporting case documentation and responses in the Case Builder system.
- Maintain employment authorization documentation by managing Form I-9 files and completing periodic audits to support compliance.
- Maintain accurate HR records and help ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Keep the HR bulletin board accurate and ensure updates are printed and posted across the site.
- Conduct weekly new hire orientation sessions (as needed) and keep orientation content current, relevant, and aligned to site needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and efficiency partnering with HR Managers and HR COEs to implement enhancements that strengthen the employee and manager experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 4+ years of human resources generalist experience.
- Deep knowledge of HR policies, procedures, principles, processes, and regulations, with comfort advising others in these areas.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, effective communication (written, verbal, and listening), and facilitation experience.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

- Ability to work primarily in an office environment and engage with employees in a pilot plant or R&D lab environment as needed, following all required safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

Skills
- Human resources certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR).
- Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
