Senior Fire and Security Technician- $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS

About the role

The Senior Fire and Security Technician is responsible for maintaining and operating fire suppression systems, security alarms, and other related equipment to ensure the safety and security of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate fire suppression systems, including testing, inspecting, and repairing as needed.
• Install, configure, and maintain security alarm systems.
• Respond to fire alarms and security incidents, ensuring immediate response and proper procedures are followed.
• Document all maintenance activities and report findings to management.
• Train new employees on fire and security protocols.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in fire protection or security systems.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire suppression systems, security alarm systems, and related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficient in using fire suppression system and security alarm systems.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
