Senior Financial Analyst - Remote
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making across a rapidly growing, multi-site healthcare organization. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and data, and is ideal for someone who can combine strong financial acumen with analytical rigor.
Key Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across clinics, regions, and service lines.
- Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance.
- Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making (e.g., provider hiring, clinic performance, service line expansion).
- Analyze clinic level and provider level economics, including utilization, revenue per visit, and cost structure.
- Identify trends in patient volume, LTV, payer mix, reimbursement rates, and operational performance.
- Translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI or similar) integrating financial and operational data.
- Partner with Data Analytics to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.
- Work with large, multi-source datasets to build reliable reporting.
- Collaborate with Operations, Clinical, and various other departments to support data-driven decision-making.
- Present findings and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Support ad hoc analyses for senior leadership and strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting and improve data workflows.
- Contribute to the development of scalable processes and tools as the company grows.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 3–6+ years of analytical finance experience, ideally in investment banking, consulting or healthcare
- Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements and KPIs
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel required
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) preferred
- Familiarity with data processing tools (e.g., Alteryx) is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a plus
