About the role

The Senior Executive Assistant provides highly complex workflow and office coordination, logistical support, and technical administrative support to the College President, Vice Chancellor, and other administrative staff. This position also coordinates the development and distribution of office work products and maintains records and calendars.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings, room reservations, and material deliveries
  • Develop and distribute office work products and brochures
  • Maintain and update web pages for assigned office
  • Assist in the implementation of office goals and objectives
  • Prepare and review complex reports and documents
  • Manage budgets and expenditures
  • Represent the College President, Vice Chancellor, or Chancellor in meetings
  • Investigate and resolve complex complaints

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • At least 6 years of progressive clerical/administrative experience, including 3 years of technical administrative support

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of office administration, budget development, and record keeping
  • Ability to communicate effectively, analyze complex information, and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Skills

  • Advanced keyboarding skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Independent judgment and attention to detail

YEARLY: $83,952, step 1 - $102,276, step 5 (see special instructions for initial step placement)
