Senior Executive Assistant 1 - General Authority Support

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level support, including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting planning, and correspondence.
  • Anticipate needs, resolve issues proactively, and help leaders remain prepared for meetings, assignments, and events.
  • Cook up projects, processes, and follow-up activities, ensuring deadlines and commitments are met.
  • Prepare, edit, and manage documents, reports, presentations, and communications.
  • Research, compile, analyze, and summarize information from multiple sources to support decisions, projects, and leader needs.
  • Screen communications, inquiries, and requests, responding appropriately and exercising sound judgment when determining priorities and follow-up actions.
  • Build positive working relationships and serve as a liaison with Church leaders, employees, and external contacts.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive matters.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and provide responsive, high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Seek to support the work through thoughtful service, professionalism, and spiritual maturity.
  • May assist with event coordination, purchasing, budgeting, and other operational or financial responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least 7 years.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project coordination abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively with others.
  • Ability to be flexible, service-oriented, and responsive in a changing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Church doctrine, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal integrity, accountability, and the mission of the Church.
