Senior Electrical Aircraft Technician - H125 FAL
Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Senior Electrical Aircraft Technician to join the H125 Final Assembly Line team in Columbus, MS. This role involves fabrication, repair, and installation of aircraft parts, maintenance and repair of helicopters, and support of helicopter-specific programs.
About the role
You will perform assembly, installation, repair, or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacture, maintenance, or refurbishing of aircraft. The role includes function checks of components and collaboration with leads on schedules, priorities, and resource availability.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, installation, repair, or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems.
- Maintain close working relationships with leads regarding schedules, priorities, parts, supplies, tools, and special instructions.
- Work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals, and other source data to meet dimensional, alignment, tolerance, and specification requirements.
- Use standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices, and test equipment.
- Ensure completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
- Coordinate with departments on material, supply, equipment, and job schedule requirements.
- Complete forms and records related to assigned work.
Requirements
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience working on avionics in aircraft, preferably rotorcraft.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and apply standard shop practices.

Working Environment
Located in Columbus, MS, this role is part of the Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and the Center of Excellence for Airbus’ North America region. The site produces UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army and H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.
