Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year strategy for financial technology solutions, defining product priorities, target segments, partnership strategies, and growth opportunities.
- Take full ownership of business performance, including revenue targets, margins, transaction volume, and key financial metrics.
- Define strategic positioning within the payments and embedded finance ecosystem, identifying opportunities to improve commercial outcomes and expand market reach.
- Build executive-level business cases for product investments and translate strategic vision into actionable operating plans.
- Manage relationships with key fintech partners, including payment processors, financial institutions, lenders, and infrastructure providers.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations, structuring agreements that optimize business value, flexibility, and long-term growth.
- Develop and manage partnership strategies that enhance product capabilities and customer offerings.
- Drive go-to-market execution by partnering with sales and commercial teams to increase adoption, customer acquisition, and transaction growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across product, operations, finance, customer success, and sales to deliver shared business objectives.
- Establish operating rhythms, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks to ensure successful execution.
- Define product strategy and roadmap priorities based on customer needs, business goals, and market opportunities.
- Make strategic build-versus-buy-versus-partner decisions while considering commercial impact, compliance, risk, and scalability.
- Ensure regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and operational standards are integrated into product and partnership decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in payments, consumer financing, embedded finance, or related financial technology sectors.
- Proven track record managing a business, product line, or major business unit with full P&L responsibility and revenue accountability.
- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements with payment processors, banks, lenders, or financial technology partners.
- Strong understanding of payment economics, lending models, revenue structures, and financial services ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute go-to-market strategies that drive adoption, customer growth, and revenue expansion.
- Strong product leadership skills with experience defining roadmaps and prioritizing investments based on business outcomes.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership abilities, with experience influencing teams across sales, operations, finance, and technology.
- Ability to operate effectively with executive stakeholders and represent the organization in senior external discussions.
- Experience in B2B2C business models where distribution, activation, and customer adoption are critical success factors.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation skills, analytical ability, and commercial judgment.
