Position Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Learning supports the execution, coordination, and continuous improvement of adult- and youth-focused learning initiatives across Council products. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Development, this role is responsible for coordinating project plans, facilitating workflows, and ensuring the timely, high-quality delivery of learning content and experiences. This role supports both the Director, Adult Learning and Director, Youth Learning, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans by managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating across cross-functional teams and external partners. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, this position ensures organized communication, efficient workflows, and a positive learner experience, while maintaining visibility into progress, risks, and operational needs across initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate project plans, timelines, and deliverables across adult and youth learning initiatives using project management tools.
  • Track progress, follow up on tasks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables across multiple portfolios.
  • Identify risks or delays and support communication of updates to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation, templates, and workflows to support consistent execution.
  • Support setup and delivery of virtual and asynchronous learning experiences (e.g., webinars, LMS-based content).
  • Support the upload and maintenance of learning content and digital assets within platforms, ensuring organization and accessibility.
  • Afford support for testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of learning systems and tools.
  • Cook up live session logistics and provide real-time technical support to facilitators and participants.
  • Support the coordination of communication and workflows across internal teams and external partners.
  • Schedule and support meetings, convenings, and stakeholder engagements across learning portfolios.
  • Cook up operational processes including routing contracts for signatures, invoices, reimbursements, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain centralized documentation, records, and digital assets across initiatives.
  • Collect and organize participant feedback, evaluation data, and program metrics to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Identify and support implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and learner experience.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience and/or training.
  • 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in project coordination, program operations, or digital learning environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects, timelines, and workflows using tools such as Asana or similar platforms.
  • Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across initiatives.
  • Experience supporting virtual learning environments, webinars, or LMS platforms (e.g., Zoom, Moodle).
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high responsiveness and accountability.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional workflows and supporting stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting adult learning, youth development, or professional development programs.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, accessibility standards, and digital content management.
  • Experience coordinating vendor processes, contracts, or budget-related activities.
  • Exposure to process improvement, workflow optimization, or operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in nonprofit or national network environments.

Travel Requirements

Travel may be necessary up to 20% by air, car, and/or rail domestically.

Salary Range Disclosure

The salary range listed reflects the national market range for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the selected candidate's geographic location and internal equity considerations.
