Key Responsibilities

  • Covers daily staff and patient schedules, making real-time adjustments to meet changing clinical demands.
  • Schedules and manages complex diagnostic testing appointments, ensuring accuracy, preparation and clear communication.
  • Serves as a key resource for patients, physicians and internal teams regarding testing, scheduling and departmental processes.
  • Maintains organized documentation, prepares reports and supports communication for diagnostic services.

Essential Duties

  • Answers, screens and routes phone calls, which includes taking messages.
  • Greets patients when clinical support representative is not available.
  • Opens up the office each morning and adjusts daily schedule.
  • Assigns and prepares departmental technical staff daily work schedules and makes adjustments throughout the day as demand changes.
  • Proactively informs supervisor and scheduler of daily schedule changes.
  • Schedules patients in hospital-wide computer system.
  • Communicates with appropriate departments and physicians to arrange testing.
  • Sets up meeting, conferences and seminars or special programs for the Director and Supervisors of Pulmonary Physiology Services.

Salary Range

$20.69 - $27.36
